Your back office runs itself.
You handle the law.

MatterEngine is the AI operating layer for modern law firms. Six agents handle intake, USCIS polling, status replies, deadlines, billing, and the partner queue — so what's left for you is judgment, strategy, and signing off.

Built for the way immigration firms actually work.

Start every morning with one queue, not ten tabs.

By 8 AM, six agents have reviewed every active matter. You sit down to a single ranked list of what needs your judgment today — not a wall of email and CRM tabs.

  • One line summary across all matters
  • Three urgency tiers, color-coded
  • One-click into the case, document, or agent log
  • Mobile view for triage on the go
MatterEngine Command Center

Agents draft. You approve.

Every client-facing email is drafted by an agent and queued for your one-click approval. Trained on your firm's past correspondence so it sounds like you — not a chatbot.

  • Voice match score on every draft (target: 90%+)
  • Bulk approve dozens of routine drafts at once
  • Edit inline before sending
  • Full audit log per matter
MatterEngine Client Inbox

The numbers that justify the line item.

Hours recovered, drafts approved, deadlines watched. Every month, you see exactly what MatterEngine did for your firm — and what it would have cost to hire those hours instead.

  • Time saved, drafts approved, conversion rate
  • By-agent breakdowns
  • Monthly “if billed” vs “if hired” comparison
  • Export for partner meetings
MatterEngine Insights

Six agents. One operating layer.

Each agent owns one workflow end-to-end. They write to your existing tools, surface what needs your judgment, and stay out of your way.

I

Intake Agent

Captures new leads. Generates the case ID. Sends the Retainer + Invoice + Intake Sheet bundle. Schedules the consult.

Trigger: new email · new form
II

USCIS Agent

Polls case status every 4 hours by receipt number. Flags state changes, RFEs, approvals. No more manual portal checks.

Source: USCIS portal
III

Communication Agent

Drafts status replies, attorney intros, document requests — in your firm's voice. Always one approval away from sent.

Approval gate: required
IV

Deadlines Agent

Tracks RFE windows, filing dates, court dates. Three-tier alerts at T-7, T-3, T-1. Zero missed deadlines.

SLA: 0 missed
V

Billing Agent

Syncs Stripe and QuickBooks both ways. Reconciles payments. Sends invoices. Closes the month for you.

Syncs: QuickBooks · Stripe
VI

Partner Queue Agent

One ranked inbox of what needs your decision today. The rest is handled. You handle the law.

Output: one ranked queue

An operating layer, not another tool.

MatterEngine sits between you and the tools you already use. We don't replace your CRM or QuickBooks — we run them on your behalf.

↑   You — judgment & approvals
◆   MatterEngine
→   CRM · Email · Drive · QuickBooks · USCIS
←   Real-time signals: status, deadlines, payments

Humans on top of the loop, not inside it.

Today, your team is the integration layer between five disconnected systems. Casework replaces that layer with a coordinated set of agents — and gives you the one queue that holds everything needing your judgment.

  • Works with your existing stack — no rip-and-replace
  • Every action is auditable and reversible
  • Approvals stay with humans; mechanics go to agents
  • Deploys in 6–8 weeks, fully in production by week 12

Approve drafts from anywhere.

MatterEngine is a full mobile experience — not a cramped desktop view. Triage at the courthouse, approve drafts from the school pickup line, watch deadlines on the weekend.

Swipe to approve

Routine drafts (status replies, document reminders) approve with a swipe. Complex drafts open in full view.

Offline-ready queue

Read the decision queue without signal. Your approvals sync when you're back online — nothing lost in a tunnel.

The questions we hear most.

Do I have to replace my current practice management system?
No. Casework sits on top of Clio, Docketwise, or whatever you already use. We connect to your CRM, email, Drive, QuickBooks, and USCIS portals through standard APIs. There is no rip-and-replace.
How long does it take to get up and running?
90 days from contract signed to fully in production. First 30 days: onboarding (data migration, voice training, integrations). Next 60: phased rollout where agents come online one at a time.
What happens if an agent makes a mistake?
Every client-facing action requires human approval. Agents draft, you (or your case manager) approve before send. Internal actions are auditable and reversible. We log every action per matter.
Is my client data used to train AI models?
No. Your matter data, client documents, and case correspondence are never used to train public models. Per-firm models are tuned in isolation, with your data staying in your tenant.
Can I see a live demo before committing?
Yes. A 20-minute demo with our team shows the Command Center, walks through 2–3 agents, and answers your specific questions. After the demo, we offer a 30-day paid pilot ($5,000) which is credited toward your annual contract.
Do you only work with immigration firms?
Today, yes. We are 100% focused on U.S. immigration practice in 2026. Adjacent legal practices (family, estate, small business) are on the H2 2026 roadmap.
What if I cancel?
Annual contracts auto-renew. You can cancel at the renewal date with 30 days' written notice. On cancellation we provide a full data export and ensure all integrations are cleanly disconnected.

Immigration today. Every small firm tomorrow.
